The information contained on this page is the result of work aimed at identifying the most easily accessible routes to the events of the Ivrea Carnival to allow people with physical disabilities, parents with stroller and elderly to enjoy the event in conditions of ease and safety.
Since this is an event that attracts a large public and since there are no reserved parking areas for cars equipped with the mark, it is advisable to reach the city, particularly on Sunday, by noon to be able to park the car as close as possible in the historic center.
The parking areas closest to the historic center are indicated on the map below.
The recommended route, marked on the blue-dotted map, starts from the train station and continues along corso Nigra and corso Re Umberto until it reaches piazza del Rondolino. Along the way it is possible to watch the parade of the historical procession, while in Piazza del Rondolino the battle of oranges. The entire journey is free of architectural barriers and can be traveled in about 20 minutes.
Piazza del Rondolino is also accessed from the barrier of Corso Massimo D’Azeglio in about 10 minutes and from the car park in via Circonvallazione in about 15 minutes.
On the map, accessible bars with disabled toilets are also indicated along the routes described above. Download the Map with the Easy Routes (download)
